A good bouquet or to arrange flowers like pro could just make anybody’s mood better. The fresh smell, the picture perfect beauty and perfect arrangement could make any heart flutter. But sometimes it could be quite expensive to buy fresh flowers especially when flowers you choose have high quality and price.
I always believe that the best way to anyone’s heart is the amount of effort you put in. Rather than buying an arranged flower bouquet from the roadside, it would be so much personal and touching if you could give a handmade one. Now the questions are, How to arrange flowers like a pro? Is it even possible for an ordinary human to do something like flower arrangement that requires lot of patience? Let us find some of the factors that will help you with the answer.

1. TIP FOR A FLOWER VASE ARRANGEMENT:
If you have tried to arrange flowers in a wide vase, with the expectation of what you see in movies, you may know that it is not that easy. The flowers won’t stay still, they fall apart. If you form a grid with cellophane tape (or any tape you have on hand), the tape will support your flowers and give you better control of your arrangement. Just be sure that the rim of your bowl or vase is dry and your container is full of water before assembling your grid. The only downfall I’ve found with this method is that it is more difficult to change the water.
2. CHOICE OF FLOWERS AND FILLERS:
The choice of flowers and fillers is extremely important if you want to have a good professional flower arrangement. The combination or scheme of colours must be blending with each other and also with the surroundings.White flowers and green fillers are the go to combination for any occasion.Use seasonal flowers. Doing this will immediately connect your arrangement to the season.
Seasonal flowers will also be fresher and less expensive than out-of-season offerings. To have the longest-lasting arrangement possible, you need to use seasonal flowers. Some flowers, like roses, are appropriate at any season. Others are more associated with specific seasons. For example, sunflowers often show up in summer or fall flower arrangements. Tulips are a great addition to a spring bouquet.
3. BUBBLE WRAPPER SECRET:
Floating flowers are a fun way to decorate for special occasions, or to simply create something different for your dining room table. Most flowers float pretty well on their own until they start to pool with water and slowly sink. For a longer lasting centerpiece, use bubble wrap to make little skirts for your flowers. Dig a small hole on your bubble wrap and slowly insert the tip of your flower’s stem into it. Move up till the sepel.
Now just leave a small portion of the stem and trim the rest. Your flowers are ready to go for swimming! Take a round vessel with a wide mouth and gently drop your flowers one by one into it.You can notice that it floats better than when you drop it without bubble wrapper. It also lasts for a longer time.

4. USE FLORAL FOAM FOR WEIRD SHAPED CONTAINERS:
For odd shaped containers, use floral foam to help create shapes that would otherwise be impossible. Floral foam also helps in any vase or container that is not transparent to create height and drama to flowers that would otherwise fall to the side. It can be easily cut to any shape or size you want, then you simply soak it in water for 20-30 minutes before beginning.
5. USE HEIGHT AS A CRITERIA:
Flowers come in many colors and textures. They also come in different heights. Delphinium, Larkspur, and Snapdragons are all very tall flowers with long stems. Sunflowers and hydrangeas have very large flowers. Spray roses and chrysanthemums are quite tiny and have shorter stems. You can use these height differences as a way to create interest and drama in your flower arrangement. Contrasting heights and flower sizes is a great way to draw focus on specific elements. It can also make the arrangement appear more three dimensional and full.
