There are totally 5 steps involved for this. The first step for the making process of Khurja Pottery is preparing the clay. The second step would be the clay moulding process. The moulding process takes place when there are big results like a container, vessel or pot. During this process Plaster of Paris takes place. In the third step Smoothening and Painting Process takes place. The fourth step consists of Glazing process where a glossy coating would be given to the pottery and the last but not the least step is the firing process.
